Special Information
LinkedIn Learning Now Available to Faculty and Staff: LinkedIn Learning, an online educational platform, is now available to all College of Charleston faculty and staff. LinkedIn Learning can help you discover and develop technology, business, and creative skills through expert-led course videos on hundreds of topics - all on your own schedule. Faculty and staff can access LinkedIn Learning by logging into Absorb (cofc.myabsorb.com) with their College credentials. Navigate to the My Courses tile from the Dashboard to see courses you may have been enrolled in, or to the Catalog tile to see recommended courses (see detailed instructions). To browse the extensive list of courses available in LinkedIn Learning, faculty and staff must log in through Office 365 (portal.office.com) with their College credentials and navigate to the More Apps section (see detailed instructions).

Student Technology Workshops: Student Instructional Technology Services is offering a series of online workshops for students who would like to become more familiar with technology tools and applications available at the College before the fall semester begins. Workshops will cover topics such as Accessing and Installing Office 365 Applications, Using Zoom, Introduction to OAKS, Using Google Suite for Education, and more. It's simple to virtually attend! Interested students should select the link to join the workshop via Zoom at the date/time it is being offered. No RSVP is needed, but you will need to be signed into Zoom using your g.cofc.edu credentials. Student Hotspots: Infortmation Technology has a very limited supply of Verizon Wi-Fi hotspots available for check out to students with an urgent need that do not have highspeed Internet. Students should email the IT Service Desk directly to request a Wi-Fi hotspot.
